Faubion United Methodist Church

"Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?" - Matthew 25:37

As we go where God leads us, we find one of our missions in Mozambique, Africa. We are partnering with a church in Maputo, Mozambique - Muhalaze United Methodist Church. As of 2017, the church has a membership of 175 with an average attendance of 96. Muhalaze UMC is located about 20 kilometers (about 12.5 miles) west of the National road and on the west side of the capital city of Maputo.

They speak Portuguese and Xitswa (native language). Our brothers and sisters of Muhalaze UMC have many needs and very few resources. The body of believers at Faubion UMC have been blessed by God and with God's guidance and love, we will know what Jesus meant when he said, "When I was hungry, you gave me food. When I was thirsty, you gave me something to drink. When I was sick, you visited me." - Matthew 25:35-36
